Navigating Uncertainty

Intro Circle

New Dates and Times Coming Soon

Is 2025 feeling uncertain?

Probably.

There’s a lot to feel uncertain about. So much so that I won’t even attempt to make a list.

So much so that I want to invite you to a Navigating Uncertainty Circle—a two-hour session designed to help us explore how we navigate this uncertainty.

Don’t need to read more? Great. Just click this button ⬇️ to get more info and register.

Want more? Great. Here you go:

We’re living in deeply uncertain times. The playbooks that most of us are used to have been tossed out. But you know that.

You also know that this results in anxiety, fear, stress—a whole host of unsettling feelings. If you are anything like me, you’ve been feeling this for a while.

As we stand at the threshold of another year, and a year that is likely to plunge us deeper into this uncertainty, many of us are asking:

“How am I going to do this?”

It’s a reasonable question.

This circle is about navigating the uncertainty that we are feeling. It’s a place to process and pick up a couple of tools that can help us answer that question.

It’s an intro* opportunity—a short, no commitment session that will give you a couple of useful and easy tools to help you navigate your own personal uncertainty.

In this 2-hour session, we’ll . . .

  • . . . explore how the antidote to uncertainty is not certainty.

  • . . . learn some practices that can support us in navigating a deeply uncertain world.

  • . . . connect with other real-life humans who are having similar experiences.

  • . . . experience the circ.al approach to gathering.

  • . . . learn about the upcoming 9-week Navigaing Uncertainty Circle program

This is for anyone who . . .

✅ Is looking to stay present to themselves and others in the midst of uncertainty.

✅ Wants to engage in connection and community.

✅ Is ready to look at the ways we’ve been conditioned to turn away from what’s hard.

✅ Feels like they need to be surrounded by others in order to step into the unknown.

✅ Cares deeply about the world, and wants to connect with others who feel the same.

This is not for . . .

❌ Folks who are wrestling with a deep trauma response that requires a licensed therapist to navigate.

❌ People who want to pontificate, share a hot take, or argue about “why we are in this mess.”

❌ Anyone who believes we need to “figure it out” on our own.

*This is an “intro” because it’s a taste of a longer program that’s coming soon. You’ll get to learn a bit more about this at the end of the session.

A bit about your facilitator

Hi! I’m Greg, the host and facilitator for this evening. While I’m technically a coach and a facilitator, I see my work as being about playing a small role in helping us all (self included here) in remembering what it means to be human.

I work with organizations and individuals who are at thresholds. Right now, that seems to be most of us. One of my biggest passions is being able to work with people in circles, which is why I’m excited to be hosting this event. I hope you’ll join me.

You can learn more about me here.

Registration - Coming Soon

Thanks for your interest! As soon as I have new dates, I’ll open registration.

What’s the deal with the "a circ.al prototype” business at the top of the page?

circ.al will soon be the new name of my business (coming in 2025, woot!). I thought I’d tease it here.

Why circ.al? Here’s what I’ll say about this now:

  • A circle is a technology that I love to use. Humans have used the circle format for as long as we’ve gathered together in groups. That’s a very long time. Longer than most of us can comprehend. I’ve found it to be a particular powerful technology in my life, and have seen the benefits as I’ve facilitated (and participated in) circles over the years. And I’m aware that sometimes it can feel as if we are, well, going in circles.

  • A spiral is a process of growth and transformation that unfolds when we break free what keeps us going in circles. To be in a spiral may be to meet some similar material, but always from a different elevation, a different perspective, a different lived experience. When we occupy a spiral, we are taken to new, sometimes uncharted territory. It can be exhilarating and terrifying, which is part of why we need the circle to hold us.

circ.al brings these two together. I’ll be hosting more circles, as well as offering coaching and other programs based on these ideas. More soon!
